This is a sequel but does it stand up in its own right? Could someone read it and not get confused? It is an historical crime escapade set mainly in 1951 but involving time travel and a bit of subtle romance and plenty of mystery as well as some fantasy. Multi-genre! The plot of the first book in the series was very complex so does this one hold up? I will eat my hat if there are any major grammatical errors.
