One thousand years after the apocalypse, the Earth belongs to the Dharmas, a group of high-tech cyborgs with the ability of independent thinking. Organized in a group of cities, every city with its political power and motivations, and always on the verge of war, institutions know as the libraries have been constructed to deploy agents tasked to infiltrate and gather information of any dangerous group inside or outside of their cities.

This story centers around the morally conflicted agent of peace, an inquisitive librarian, a renegade agent, and a refugee from another nation and the actions they take that will bring the world closer to another war.
