Enable Google Text-to-Speech

Once you have downloaded Google's Text-to-Speech Engine, you'll need to enable it. Follow the screenshots below.
Steps may vary. Google "enabling text-to-speech on XX phone" to get more specific directions for your device.

Go to your phone's Settings and tap More Settings

Tap the Preferred engine bar (not the settings icon)

Select Google Text-to-speech Engine as your preferred TTS engine.

Now you can open Edit Out Loud, have your drafts read to you as you stroll around the block, and tap in comments to address later. Thank you for downloading the app!
